Reggae Singer Buju Banton

Entertainer Buju Banton heads the list of nominees in the Reggae Album Category of the 2010 Grammy Awards.

It is the fourth nomination for the 37-year-old artiste whose real name is Mark Myrie.

Also making the reggae nomination list this year are veteran singer, Gregory Issacs for his ‘Brand New Me’ album as well as Sean Paul for ‘Imperial Blaze’.

Also on the list are Stephen Marley for ‘Mind Control- Acoustic’ and Julian Marley for ‘Awake’.

Nominations for the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards were announced last night by The Recording Academy.

The awards ceremony will take place on Sunday January 31 in Los Angeles.
