Chaka Demus and Pliers is undisputedly the greatest dancehall duo of all times. They shot to prominence internationally in the 1990’s with smash hits such as Murder She Wrote, Twist and Shout and Tease Me.

Chaka Demus and Pliers were the first ever dancehall act to score five consecutive hits on the British charts. They have sold millions of records and have toured the world earning the love and respect of millions of music lovers around the globe.

Chaka Demus and Pliers will be the headliners for the fourth concert in the Negril One Love Reggae Concert winter series, which will be held at the Negril Escape resort on Tuesday, December 8th 2009.

Also on the lineup for this event are home town artists Ras Slick, Groove and the Roots Warriors band. Music will be provided by DJ Gemini.

The first three shows featured: Tarrus Riley, Sanchez and Freddie McGregor, respectively and were all well attended, by satisfied patrons. Now its time for Chaka Demus and Pliers to rock Negril Escape.

Admission to the One Love Reggae Concert is US$20 for tickets and US$25 at the gate.

Tickets are available at Negril Escape resort, the Jungle Night Club and Sue’s Easy Rock Café.

Gates open at 7 PM and show time is 8PM.
