Cush Hunta with Laing - Promoter of Sting

One of the Promoter’s pick in the promising Reggae artistes segment for the highly anticipated STING 2009 event is Cush Hunta and he is certainly paving the way for his performance.

Since the announcement at the STING launch held at the Pegasus recently, Cush has been in the street campaigning as well making live appearances on a number of events where his performance is well received.

Recently Cush performed on Nationwide outside broadcast promotional event held at the Ward Theatre parking lot Downtown to resounding forwards from the hundreds of persons who gathered in the park to watch the proceedings.

One day later, he was on stage at the Holy Childhood Bar-B-Que bellowing his ‘Greens’ single which was evidently a popular song among the youngsters in attendance. With a few weeks to go before the big night and many other events leading up to it, Cush relish making good, any opportunity to create his own audience for the show.

Separate from a busy studio schedule his agenda this week includes Hype TV Up and Live interview, an interview with Ras Firebones on Riddim Radio base in the UK, Excelsior High School concert and Stone Love Anniversary show at Mas Camp.

Kashif Omar ‘Cush Hunta’ Downs, is a dj warrior from the nineties dancehall experience who fought his way on the musical scene with the overwhelming power of his voice and bar over bar style.
