Darkcide Rocks Hundreds In Clarendon & Ocho Rios

Uptown sensation Darkcide International is really putting their muscles of the metal as they continue to create waves on the entertainment circuit.

After giving a good account of themselves at Holy Childhood Barbecue the team comprising of Toney Chrome, Shadow and Wah Wa left for Margaritaville, Ocho Rios the same night where they had the hundreds in attendance ‘Skipping To My Luu’ and Olympic triple gold medalist and double world record holder Usain Bolt firing a few blanks to show his approval.
This weekend December 12th, it was off to Hotel Versalles in May Pen, Clarendon for the inaugural staging of JU:FOR:IA – ‘The Tantalizing Indulgence’. The event hosted by Hottsexy Entertainment boasted an impressive line-up featuring the likes of Area Code 876 alongside Darkcide’s turntable maestros.

At 1:30am DJ Wah Wa and Toney Chrome were summoned to the music booth and without skipping a beat they had the hundreds in attendance laughing to their spine tingling humour as they reminded patrons why they some of the most sort after jocks locally.
Wah Wa took the microphone and said “Big up the ugly girls dem, big up the big foot girls dem, big up the big nose girls dem weh know say when yuh man come to kiss you him have to move yuh nose to the left or right and ask …. baby why yuh a hide from me”, before unleashing a fiery two hours set that had the ladies showing off their wining skills and the men beating their palms against anything noisy they could find.
The duo then turned the proceedings over to the resident jock who kept the vibes going until the wee hours of the morning.
Later this month the team will embark on several overseas assignment in the United States making stop in Florida at several radio stations and club in the Miami area. On the local scene, fans can catch team Darkcide at the highly anticipated Winter Bar-Raage party set for Christmas Day at the NHT Roof top dubbed the ‘ARCTIC’.
