Three Jamaican Lawmen Facing Sexual Offense Charges

Three members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force including an Inspector are facing sexual offense charges.

Inspector Alfred Neil is charged with two counts of carnal abuse while Constables Clifford Brown and Greg Reid are charged with three counts of carnal abuse and one count of indecent assault respectively.

The three Policemen were charged on Monday of this week by the Center for Investigations of Sexual Offenses and Child Abuse following rulings by the Director of Prosecution.

Acting Commissioner of Police Owen Ellington has ordered the immediate suspension of the two constables.

The Acting Commissioner will also be asking the Police Service Commission to immediately suspend the inspector.

The Police High Command has not provided any details of the circumstances that led to the cops being charged.

The three officers were charged following three separate incidents.
