Jamaican Singer Ian Chang, ‘Purpose’

Ian Chang, ‘Purpose’ is a talented singer who ventured into music at a very tender age.

“I can remember when I would pound desks and sing at school “, he says. Like most Jamaican artistes, Purpose nurtured his singing in church and was encouraged by his mother, while taking his inspiration from legendary Jamaican singers like Garnet Silk, Jah Cure and International Artistes like Michael Bolton and Ray Charles.

A promising and very enthusiatic performer, who has preformed locally as well as on the international stage.

Purpose hopes to leave a positive mark in the music industry. His songs are about the struggles faced in our daily life, they encourages faith and perseverance.

Purpose has a smooth and charming delivery with the most touching lyrics heard in years.

Currently, Purpose is working on his upcoming album with JABUKEM Music Group producer Alex Martin- Blanken.
