Jon And Kate Gosselin Back With TLC
According to myfoxphilly Jon Gosselin has settled his legal case with the TLC, potentially clearing the way for a TV return for the Gosselin family.
Gosselin’s lawyer has confirmed to Radar Online that the Gosselin family is back under contract with TLC.
TLC also said it had the Gosselin family under contract.
“TLC has reached a settlement with Jon Gosselin and will be undertaking procedural steps to conclude the litigation. All terms of the settlement are confidential. The whole Gosselin family remain under contract with TLC,” TLC said in a statement released Wednesday.
Mark Heller released a statement to RadarOnline.com confirming Gosselin and TLC reached a lawsuit settlement and the Wernersville, Pa., family is back under contract with TLC.
“Jon has expressed his desire to close the litigation chapter of Jon & Kate Plus 8 and although all terms are confidential, he is hopeful that TLC will move forward with the best interests of the Gosselin family,” Heller said.
“Sometimes litigants that kiss and make up find their relationship is better the second time around. As Jon’s attorney I truly hope that this new adventure for TLC and the Gosselins is a much more joyful journey.”
Fox 411 first reported that Jon Gosselin was negotiating with ex-wife Kate Gosselin and TLC for his children to return to cable TV.
The settlement between Gosselin and TLC happened Wednesday morning.Fox411 said last week that Gosselin, 32, wanted TLC to drop its legal case against him, in exchange for Jon Gosselin agreeing to let his children appear on television.
Kate Gosselin’s reported goal is to bring the family’s show back to television. The couple was reportedly making more than $1 million a year before the show was taken off the air by TLC.
TLC wanted to continue the show as “Kate Plus 8″ before Jon Gosselin pulled the plug on his children appearing on TV.

TLC’s successful injunction against Jon Gosselin has kept him from earning money for personal appearances. His contract with TLC expires in May 2010.
Last fall, Jon Gosselin barred TLC crews from filming his children. TLC questioned the moved during its lawsuit but said it would honor Jon Gosselin’s request.
At one time, “Jon & Kate Plus 8” drew was many as 10 million viewers per week. But the show lost 90 percent of that peak total in a matter of months, as Jon and Kate Gosselin battled in public over their bitter divorce.
Currently, Kate Gosselin has filmed a pilot show for TLC without her children and she was not picked up as a co-host for a potential talk show with Paula Deen.
Jon Gosselin was last seen with a new girlfriend in Colorado.
