Since the release of his successful debut single titled Arguments which came out last summer, reggae artist Protoje has been hailed by several pundits as the next big thing. Even though he has only been on the scene for a short time, he has impressed many people with his sharp lyrical skills. The talented young man who hails from the parish of St. Elizabeth is a very creative and innovative song writer. He is also a very strong vocalist and an excellent stage performer.

Since the beginning of the year Protoje has been busy in the studios working under the guidance of ace producer Donovan Don Carleon Bennet, as he completes his much anticipated debut album The Seven Year Itch. Working with Don Corleon has already began to pay rich dividends as Protoje has been getting loads of airplay both locally and abroad with Don Corleon Produced singles Dread and the new thought provoking track titled JA.

Despite his hectic studio schedule Protoje has also been very busy on the live show circuit; he recently delivered show stopping performances at the Coral Cliff Resort in Montego Bay and the Negril Escape Resort in Negril. His next assignment will be on Friday the 12th of March at the Acropolis Gaming and Entertainment Centre in Kingston, where he and his backing band Indiggnation will be doing a special concert dubbed Unplugged.
