Spanner Banner Picks Up IRAWMA Nomination
Reggae artist Spanner Banner has a lot to be happy about. Since the release of his album last year his career has been enjoying much upward mobility. The talented singer, songwriter and producer made his entry in the music biz in the late 1980s. Two decades later he is still singing hit songs and thrilling audiences where ever he performs.
His works have not gone unnoticed as he recently copped the EME award for Biggest Come Back Artist Of The Year. He has also picked up a nomination in the 29 International Reggae and World Music Awards, which will be held on Sunday May 2 at the York College Performing Arts Centre, Jamaica, Queens, New York. Spanner Banner has been nominated in the Most Improved Entertainer category.
Spanner Banner’s hit single Rolling Stones is currently sitting in the number 8 position on the South Florida Top 25 Reggae Chart and on the New York Top 30 Reggae Chart it is in position number 9.
