SANDALS RESORTS TO HONOUR TEAM MEMBERS FOR EXCELLENT SERVICE

Negril, Westmoreland: The four Sandals resorts in Negril (Beaches Negril, Beaches Sandy Bay, Grand Pineapple Resort, and Sandals Negril) will once again pay tribute to the team members at their Annual Prestige Awards for 2009.

The Grand Pineapple Resort will kick off the first series of awards ceremony today Tuesday March 23, 2010 at 3:00pm at the resort’s pool side under the theme: Honouring Service Excellence. Beaches Sandy Bay and Beaches Negril’s Prestige Awards will be held on March 24th and the 25th respectively while Sandals Negril will host their awards ceremony on March 31st.

Sandals Resorts International takes pride in ensuring that their employees are fully trained and ready to give quality service. As such, hard work and dedication does not go noticed.

The Prestige Awards is held each year at each resort to recognize the team members who have gone beyond the call of duty in ensuring that each guest experiences a vacation of a lifetime. A Total of 52 team members will be awarded with top prizes valued at over 5 million dollars.

The Prestige Team Member of the Year at each resort will automatically be considered for the second Sandals Ultimate Award which was won last year by Patricia Bucknor–Cox from Beaches Boscobel. He/She will have the chance to win fabulous prizes including:

  • A Superior engraved award
  • A Framed citation
  • Upgrade of the trip they won today for 2 to another overseas property to include VIP champagne transfer from their home and an amazing PRIVATE JET flight to the resort and full VIP treatment whilst they are there.
