PARIS – PPR SA says Alexander McQueen’s namesake label will live on despite the tragic death of the designer.

CEO Francois-Henri Pinault made the announcement Thursday after paying homage to McQueen, who was found hanged in his wardrobe last week.

Pinault called McQueen a genius, a poet and a friend.

The designer rose to fame in the 1990s, and was known for his daring and edgy style and skillful tailoring. He is credited with helping to revive the once-moribund British fashion industry.

Taking a break from futuristic fashion in favour of a slightly more covert outfit whilst traveling between London and the US, Rihanna wears two major 2010 fashion trends. All in black, she wears a puffy jacket with fluffy fur sleeves and over the knee boots.

The head wrap and sunglasses ensures that the star looks toned down yet still glamorous as she travels. The colour of her hair matches her sleeves and the different textures of the outfit that are in black give a variance to the ensemble.
